How We Began
A Home Born from Personal Experience
Our founder, Daman Bhatia, spent years searching for the right care community for his own mother — and kept finding places that felt more like institutions than homes. So he built one himself.
Lotus opened its doors in Rancho Cordova with a small team, a clear mission, and an unwavering commitment to treating every resident the way Daman wished his mother had been treated: with patience, dignity, and genuine love.
Today, that same spirit guides everything we do — from how we hire our caregivers to how we set the table for dinner each evening.
